How to Use Jumper Cables
It's so easy, you can do it by yourself.
- Clamp the first cable to the positive pole of the battery that runs out of electricity, by holding the end of the other cable up high then clamp it onto the positive pole of the battery that is full of electricity. Clamp the second cable to the negative pole of the battery filled with electricity, and clamp the other side of the cable to the body or metal part in the engine compartment of the vehicle with no electricity. (Try not to clamp the cable onto the negative pole of the dry-out battery pack, in order to prevent battery explosion while the engine is running, though the possibility of this occurrence is low);
- Then start the engine of the vehicle with electricity, and then start the engine of the vehicle being charged;
- When the engine is successfully started and running, undo the cables one by one. Start from the end of the negative pole that is clamped to the body of the car, and then undo the other end of the same cable. Then undo the cable that is clamped to the positive pole of the electricity-filled engine, and then undo the other end of the same cable. When detaching the cables, make sure that the cable ends do not touch anything.
